Summit Lodge, Killington

We had a ski trip planned, but unfortunately, our experience was marred by a billing issue that was not handled well. The hotel has decent amenities and the rustic charm can be appealing, but our stay certainly didn't live up to expectations due to the customer service problems. On a brighter note, breakfast was quite good, and the location was close to the mountain and some great spots to eat.

We had a delightful surprise at The Summit Lodge while looking for a cool escape from the Houston heat. The welcoming atmosphere, complete with cozy common areas and a charming bar featuring live music, made our stay truly enjoyable. The incredible buffet breakfast set us up perfectly for our adventures, but the room itself was quite basic and dated. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I can see myself wanting to return during the winter season to enjoy the snowy views.
